What is a temporary email

A temp mail is not another Gmail. It exists for this one confirmation: the page assigns an address, you paste it, the message comes back here. No account, no password reset, no outbound reply. Otpix keeps that to three steps — copy, paste, read — and holds mail for 24 hours from delivery.

The problem it solves

Many sites only need an address that can receive one letter: a trial, a download, a forum, a one-off panel. You will not log in as that identity later, and you do not want your daily inbox on their list. A disposable address splits “can receive a confirmation” from “this is me.” Otpix only does the first half.

How it differs from a normal mailbox

Gmail, Outlook, or a work mailbox can prove “this is me”: reply, search, reset. A temp mail only proves “this string can receive mail right now.” Anyone who sees the full user@linshimail.top can open the box. Use it and throw it away. Do not make it a login or a recovery channel. Limits: when not to use it.

How Otpix issues the address

Open otpx.top and you get @otpx.top. The dropdown also has @linshimail.top and @tempyx.top. The default prefix is a short Latin name plus digits; you can change it. The page checks every 4 seconds and lifts numeric codes. Details in the guide; empty box: no code; rejected domain: blocked.

It is not a invisibility cloak

Temp mail reduces “handing your daily inbox to a site you do not trust.” It does not make you disappear. Outbound is off so it cannot be used for bulk send. Do not use it for banks, government, work tenants, or anything you will need to recover. If you need long-term control, use your own mailbox.
